Subject:
Designing the general areas of a hotel in Moscow.
Issue:
To create an innovative space reflecting the city of its location while delimiting the spaces according to their use.
Our hotel:
We created a space reflecting the different facets of Moscow, a city of heritage and magic when winter transforms the city. It is this contrast that we wanted to find in the reception area of our hotel. Thus space is divided into two themes, for two very distinct functions:
In the first space, the one through which people arrive in the hotel, we find the different reception areas delimited on the floor. This first area is made of red bricks reminiscent of the architecture of the historic city, and sober furniture. Then comes the second area, where there is the Lounge area to relax, also allowing access to the hotel restaurant. This space is as if covered in snow, everything is white and curved from floor to ceiling.
